Fortune 500 companies to small businesses are using IIS to deploy Web sites on the Internet and within corporate networks.

AE Staley is testing IIS on its corporate Intranet site. The company plans to switch from Netscape to Microsoft's IIS.

Alameda Newspaper Group is producing a new interactive web site featuring five of its newspapers powered by IIS. The company is also creating an Intranet with IIS for 78 of its papers.

Cyberia Cafe/Channel Cyberia is porting its entire net from UNIX to NT. Cyberia Cafe is the first Cybercafe in the UK run by EasyNet (Internet IAP/ISP). Channel Cyberia is a new, 24-hour, interactive channel with contributed content from external subscribers. Programming is controlled by SQL database with further integration into Exchange.

DealerNet is using Microsoft IIS for a Web site that connects car dealerships across the country.

Felsina Software is committed to using Microsoft's IIS.

Financial Times Television is running its Web site using Microsoft IIS. The company plans to move to streaming audio/images for interviews, potential use of VRML, ISAPI, scripting, and STT in the future.

GTE has several Microsoft IIS servers running many custom applications.

Home/Internet Shopping Network is using Microsoft IIS for Intranet purposes and for applications on its Web site.

Hyperion Software is committed to using IIS for its NT based applications for financial software.

Investor's Edge is using IIS to provide Web access to its financial database.

Judd's, Inc. is a traditional magazine publisher expanding to all aspects of multi-media communication for its clients. Judd's integrated IIS as soon as Webmaster Richard Warren got ahold of the "Gold" code.

Knowledge Works, Inc./The Data Transfer Group is using IIS to run the San Diego Convention Center web site.

Learntel/Open University plans to run its Web site using IIS. The company is using basic functionality for distance learning as well as on-line tools.

MicroAge is using Microsoft IIS for Internet communications with resellers. The company is also using IIS for Intranet applications.

I started the BackOffice CD install and left for lunch, came back, and nine minutes later I was publishing a SQL Server database on the Web. Netropolis Communications Group is using Microsoft IIS internally for distributing price sheets and brochures over the Internet.

NTN Communications is a game company currently running its corporate Web site with Microsoft IIS.
NTN Communications, a leading producer of trivia games, shows, and live sports applications across interactive platforms, is using Microsoft's Internet Information Server to expand to the Web. "Due to the broad popularity of our games on today's on-line and ITV networks, we are enthusiastic about the opportunities which exist on the Internet," said Scott Phillips, Director of Home Services for NTN. "We are impressed with the creative controls of ODBC and ISAPI and the ability to easily and efficiently transfer the dynamics of our games to Microsoft's IIS." NTN recently launched their Web and conducted a successful test of QB1™ , the NFL licensed live, interactive football game, on the Internet using Microsoft's tools and IIS.

Owens Corning is dropping Netscape and is committed to the MS BackOffice line. The company is building a new, 4000 station Intranet and is planning to install IIS to run it.

Results from Technology! is using ISAPI to create the Boy Scouts of America, Orange County Web site.

Thinking Pictures is using IIS for internal development.

TRO Learning is building its corporate web site using Microsoft IIS.

USA Networks/Sci-Fi Channel is committed to using Microsoft IIS to power its Web site.

US Bank is committed to using IIS for Internet and Intranet solutions.

UVSG/Prevue Networks is hosting several Web sites using IIS.
United Video Satellite Group, Ince (Nasdaq:UVSGA) has switched over all its Web sites to run on Microsoft's Internet Information Server, www.prevuenet.com, www.uvtv.com, www.spacecom.com, www.superstar.com. In addition, an internal 'Intranet" site is being powered by the new Web server. "We are thrilled that each of our sites are now running on IIS," said Brian Boyd, Director of Internet Services for UVSG. "The software was not only easy to install, but it enables us to plan for the future by allowing us to count on Microsoft's flexibility, tight integration, and compatibility with other Microsoft products as our Web sites evolve and change," he said. Boyd added, "As a content provider for the World Wide Web, we know we can count on IIS to keep our sites up and running, and allow quick connections for our users and flexibility for our programmers."

Yellow Pages OnLine recently switched from Netscape to Microsoft IIS, and is now using IIS to run its site.
"Since we switched from Netscape to Microsoft's Internet Information Server we have seen a dramatic improvement in the speed and efficiency of our Yellow Pages OnLine Web service. Within the first four hours of installing IIS we achieved a 47 percent increase in the number of hits we could handle. I still can't believe it! Netscape could not solve our problem, they couldn't handle multiple processes on an NT Server. But when we went to the Internet Information Server it solved everything. AMAZING!"

Windows NT Magazine switched from Netscape to IIS because its system kept crashing. Since installing IIS, Windows NT Magazine has had no problems.

Windows95.com is hosting its site using IIS.

Window's Support Group, Inc is using IIS for Intranet purposes.

Zylab Europe BV is using Microsoft's IIS to host its corporate web site.
